Mave decided today that a midweek drive was  the order of the day. Ok so where shall we go? Ramsgate Nope not a lot there. Leysdown,  Blimey  that’s not  just a  ride out is it.

Sheerness she finally  offered. Dont  you think it might be cold there?. Ok so what about our  favourite spot. Deal she said. So  off we went.  They have made a lot of changes to the new road layout its better now. We found a nice spot to park in deal. It was a nice long walk along the beach to town. Louis had a good walk so he was happy.

I had to get petrol on the way and was surprised to  see while I was queuing  up to pay,that the police were going through the forecourt  video with the staff. Which was odd because I called in Tesco on the way out and saw a police car parked there also. Not sure what was going on.

As we walked back to the car I just caught site of a fly  bounce off the rim of my glasses and straight in my eye. I ended up doing  what one does. pull out  the eyelid roll the eyes blow the nose. All  stinging. By the time we got to the car I could see it in the corner and quickly  wiped it away. We sat and had an ice-cream. The young couple in front of me. Gave the child in the pushchair  an enormous Ice cream .You know how awkward kids co-ordination can be. Well  it  attempted to put it  in its mouth but  missed. The whole lot  was sitting  in its lap. Boo Boo Boo. But to my astonishment the seller who was doing 2 more ice creams saw it and said hold on and he gave the mum another one free. Now that’s not something you see every day.
