Well its Friday so the weekend is in front of us again my how time flies.
My Solicitor has contacted me as Information has come to light that the USA have drawn up a fund for compensation if the Asbestos that was mined in their mines, they have a list of Ships that Ray might have worked on, so I have sent the list Ray worked on.
They have paid out to women that washed clothes from 1958 so this time we might get somewhere. We can but try.

I had a good spring clean of the kitchen so it smelt all bleached and clean everywhere and the washing was on so a busy morning and then I did all my office duties on the Computer and that left me free for Lunch of a lentil soup all hot and steaming.
The walk around the beach was lovely but we seemed to walk into a mist that was very cold right on the sea front.
Louis had a lovely game with his ball.
We came back to my friend shouting out “it will be colder still tomorrow when all my windows are out”, oh dear! and the forecast is rain, I suppose the workmen work in all weathers so are used to that as they fit them all day everyday and can’t let the weather stop them.
We have had a lovely restful afternoon so relaxing reading and chatting until it was time to do dinner, Weight Watchers sausages Jacket potato and vegetables, those sausages were very nice and so healthy.
On the Computer then to catch up on the world.

My Friend Linda Wride writes in her blog :-http://doingsomethingpositive.blogspot.com/2011/02/significance-of-dates.html
Today is 18 February, which means it is now one month minus one day before Steve’s next scheduled hospital assessment.  An X-ray will reveal any indication of disease progression, in which case he will have the full scan treatment to establish exactly what’s happening inside.  In either event, the X-ray/scan will be followed by the nerve wracking time waiting to talk to the oncologist and find out the news.  Some meso warriors have to wait a whole month for the results of a scan.  How do they do it? The next four weeks or so will become increasing stressful as the date of the assessment approaches.  The thought of having to wait yet another month after that for the results is horrifying…
Gosh that is just like mine isn’t it I have had my Scan and I’m waiting a month to my appointment and although everyone says “you look so Well you will be OK ” but we know it can turn so quickly and you live on a knife-edge all the time and yet you have to enjoy every moment.
Linda also writes about every little pain is a worry that “is this something bad” I never was one for listening to my body and any pain but now I listen to everything. I know Ray is worried everyday if I’m going to wake up and he listens to my breathing when I’m asleep.
So much worry but it helps to know we are all going through this together which is great that we do write these blogs together.
Now tonight I had a shock when  another Warrior is going into hospital with Rhenial failure and will be at K& Canturbury so I can visit her which I certainly will Ronnie.!!!
