A Swedish Sunset by Lee Fraser


I have  had a weird day today first I have met a wonderful Photographer on facebook who lives in Sweden and his work is really wonderful.
I asked his permission to put this on here as I love Sunsets.
He is building a website so when it is up and running I will put it on here so you can see the amazing photo’s in the snow.
We had to get up early as the double glazing men were coming and the did get here very early to start the job. So we had to get breakfast and shower early.
They unloaded all the Thermal Glass to start the job for us and it was raining so hard I felt sorry for them, but they said they are used to it.

Thermal glass is a  glass that has been treated to have a low emissivity, reducing overall thermal conductivity. They use a coating that is a infrared reflective coating, which prevents the heat escaping through the glass.

The advantage of installing thermal glass is its ability to keep cold air out and warm air in, so  this means we could save significant amounts of money on our heating bills as our heating system will not have to work as hard to keep the room’s temperature, this not only saves money, but can make a  contribution  to environmental conservation since less energy is consumed. Now thats the sales talk so we will have to see if this does work out.
They were 2 nice guys and we had a right good laugh although Louis didnt think so at first but after he had a good bark at them he soon settled down with me and allowed them to get on.
They have worked hard all day and in the rain at times, but we made them loads of tea and coffee
I walked Louis, so he didn’t miss out, but it was a very quick walk in the heavy rain and he wasn’t so pleased once we were out in it and kept trying to go back home by digging his nails in, but I won and he had a longer walk.
The men were still working hard when I got back and they cleaned the glass, removed the Labels and polished the glass and the frames they really look lovely and I’m so pleased .
They were going to give my Porch a spruce up but they were getting tired and needed to go home so they are going to come back on a warmer day to remove and replace the sealant and put a new letterbox in for me so I have said anytime, they gave me the tin’s of  the cleaning fluid and a polish to at least give it a good clean, which I did when they went and its great to now be back to normal.
We have had a dinner, Crunchy Fishcakes new potato’s and salad.
Im now chilling right out and catching up on my emails, facebook and forums so at the end of the day I have had a very pleasant day.
