Today woke up to pouring rain and the trip to the Royal Marsden in front of me.

So it was up the M2, M20, M26 and the dreaded M25. You just don’t know what it is going to be like but today we did the trip in an hour. That’s never been known before.
I went in to get my bloods done while Ray parked the car in a very packed car park.

I was told off because the appointment card I produce is one I shouldn’t have bought home, but lucky enough the appointment had been made and I was in straight away for my vampire man.
I didn’t have to wait long and Ray came in he had found a spot easy.

Bloods were soon taken and we returned to the waiting room.

My Doctor soon had me in and sat down and said you want to know the result and laughed. It was still the same nothing has changed and we are all so pleased.
We talked about my itching and I was given another prescription for my cream.

So we made the appointments for August and went and had a drink. We thought it would be good to go to the ward to see everyone so set off in the lift.
It was great too be greeted by nurses that remember me and we all had a laugh and I spoke about my Foundation is finally a reality. Even a nurse expecting a new baby in October Oh how things change. Exciting.

We set off home and had a good journey although I kept falling asleep.

I have posted our collection boxes to Meswarriors who kindly want to collect donations I’m so amazed at how the foundation is being accepted by so many. Saying goodbye to a upset Linda we wont see each other for 3 years as she will be coming back for My 60th wedding Anniversary Ray and I will celebrate or Diamond 2020

We will talk on the phone though xx

We were the last to leave a time to relax xxx

I have filled up my diary with dates as I have had emails today asking me to speak at different Venus, seems people want to hear the story of my journey and I love telling it as I’m so proud Of the Marsden and the NHS but I also like the opportunity to talk about Asbestos Awareness and the dangers that are involved.

I have practised my presentation for UKATA for next week. I thought I wouldn’t know anyone but I have been messaged by a lot of men that they are going so that is great. Craig Evens has had me booked in for Over a year now so I have waited a long time to do this.
