Yesterday we had to get up very early to get the fast train to London.

We crept out very early as it was so dark and the roads were empty.

We were soon in London and arrived at Stratford International  walked through the shopping Centre and arrived at the Underground. All that was peaceful and then all hell let loose. I let one train go we just couldn’t squeeze in. The next one arrive 2 mins later and the doors open and I realised we had to Squeeze in or we just wasn’t going to get a train.

No one should have to travel in the conditions we travelled in.

Old trains on the Central Line dirty and packed. I was sitting on a poor mans lap when we went round bends. The noise of scrapping metal Oh it was awful.

We squeezed ourselves out again at St Paul’s and I had all the directions of how to get to Carter Lane in my diary so we arrived in plenty of time for 9am.

I had to talk early as Peter was late getting there from a meeting but it was worth waiting for him as he told us about all the clinical Trials and how they were going.

Eric Lims talk was brilliant about Operations Giving it as an allergy to sex to make it easier to understand. He had us laughing so much. I’m still lined up to go onto the Steering Committee of The Mars Trial which has had such a good repose from the Mesowarriors and the patients are doing so well. Eric has said the Operation is doing better under a trial as that’s the only way to control the Operations. A passionate man doing what he believes and  proving a point.

Ray and I spoke at 11.15am We enjoyed putting our story across and it went down very well as we were the only Patient Carer there. We had lots of curdles afterwards and the message had got across,

The Banner was admired again.

It was spoken of in a question that we don’t have enough for the Carers after they have lost their loved one so I pointed out our picture on the banner of our lovely weekend in Blackpool. At least on Facebook we do join in and have fun and help them to smile again that is our Motto and our Passion.

It is lovely to see a Mesowarrior at the meeting Mandys Daughter has been doing work experience at 12 Kings bench and has made a great Impression with the Lawyers there.

The journey home was better I chickened out and caught a taxi to St Pancreas it was worth £10.00 for the comfort and help Rays back  as it had been a long day x
