The day started very dull and damp just not very nice but as the sun rose in the sky and the night was then day it was a lovely day as I got up to make that first cup of coffee of the day.
It is so great to wake up to these lighter mornings with the birds singing and the horses neighing on the salt marsh fields where they live and race around.
I sat at the computer and answered all my overnight mail and caught up with my Facebook friends as they had chatted over the night while I was asleep.
Ray went out early to our friends to sort out their computer and they live on Stud Hill where so many of our friends live near Hampton which is on the outskirts of Herne Bay a really quaint Private Estate  that is right on the seafront. We have often had a Barbie  and a glass of wine sitting on the beach with friends when we have camped at Swalecliffe Camping site even though we live so near but it is fun to camp there and then walk along and visit our friends.
While Ray was out I carried out my housework polishing and making the bed and washing up as it was good to be able to have a chance to do it all as Ray keeps taking over and telling me to sit down and rest.
Then I had a surprise call from Mike who has pleural plaques which is the damage that asbestos does to you and the same complaint as Ray but Mike has heard from his solicitor about  the  possible payout for his condition at last.

They seem to honouring this but only if you sign to say you wont make another claim if it ever turns to Mesothelioma. I don’t know, what a decision to have to make?.
I had a long chat with Mike and we will meet up at Peterborough Motorhome Show

Ray came back then so we had lunch and took Louis for a stroll and then my brother arrived and we swapped birthday presents as he is 65 and officially retired although he has been semi retired since 50 which only seems like yesterday and now my boys are around that age, that makes me feel so old.
Louis was really on his best behaviour and played with his toys and even fetched when a ball was thrown he really enjoyed doing his party tricks.

We spent a great afternoon chatting and catching up on all the news on both side until it was time for them to go. A very pleasant afternoon.
I then carried on and cooked dinner Pasta and a sweet and sour sauce with vegetables, a very veggie dish I don’t think Ii will ever get the hang of veggie  cooking as without meat it looks like something is missing.
I have booked up a rally in August so my diary is filling up again and I pray I keep well to enjoy all these rallies in there as you just cant give up hope
